The newest saddle pad from Acavallo is the result of recent design advances in gel shock absorption and aerodynamics. The innovative gel over-lay structure encourages a horizontal airflow pattern with a multitude of diametrically opposed contours in the surface with lateral holes permitting an even more effective targeted air circulation and increased shock absorption to the horses back. The contoured voids create a cushion effect every time they are compressed as well as generating a flow of refreshing air that keeps the back of the horse perfectly dry. This new gel cell structure means less material is used in manufacture, resulting in a substantial decrease of the overall pad weight. (Almost 20% less compared to previous Air release pads)
This Front Riser version of the Respire pad creates an even lift over the main weight bearing areas of the shoulder and is more subtle and graduated than previous gel risers pads from Acavallo. This profile also makes it more compatible with a wider variety of close contact saddles.
